Bill C-207: on the Right to Housing

An Act to amend the Canadian Bill of Rights (right to housing)

Whether renting or buying, for too many Canadians in communities across the country, housing has become completely unaffordable. In December 2021 North Island-Powell River MP Rachel Blaney introduced a private Member's bill C-207 which would add the right to safe, appropriate, and affordable housing to the Canadian Bill of Rights, because each and every one of us deserves a place to call home.
